Loretta Palmeiro - Saxophone/Clarinet

Loretta performs across jazz, classical, contemporary and world music spheres and has recorded several original albums including “All Who Travel With Us” with acclaimed pianist & composer Mark Isaacs, and “Voyages” with gypsy swing band "Spyglass"; frequenters on Manly Jazz festival stages. Loretta’s solo playing featured in Jazz Work of the Year for the 2023 Australian Art Music Awards in Nat Bartsch’s “Busy Quiet”. Recently she performed in the State Theatre’s productions of “Moulin Rouge”, “Joseph and his technicolour Dreamcoat”, and “The Tina Turner Musical” at Theatre Royal.

Cameron Jones - Guitar

Guitarist, composer, festival director, and educator, channels the vibrancy of authentic manouche jazz through his Selmer-style guitar, intertwining percussive rhythms with bright, expressive melodies. His annual pilgrimages to Europe, retracing Django Reinhardt's footsteps, garnered him unparalleled mentorship, enriching his repertoire with a rare depth of authenticity. In his performances across Australia, Jones captivates audiences with original narratives, infusing each piece with the unpredictable allure of gypsy jazz, keeping listeners on the edge with dangerously spontaneous improvisations

 Steve Elphick - Double Bass

Sydney born double bassist and trumpeter Steve Elphick is passionate about playing jazz and original music and has been a prominent member in the Australian music scene since the early 1980’s. Steve plays, records and tours extensively around the world with some of the nation’s most creative groups in a wide spectrum of styles. Has won an ARIA Award and currently performs with Mara!, The Andrew Robson Trio, The Umbrellas, James Greening’s The World According to James, and Sandy Evans/Tony Gorman’s GEST-8.

Steve won Australian Jazz Critic’s Award for Bass in 1992.
